Residential – Party Wall Services
Case Study
We have recently acted for the owner of a residential property in respect of party wall matters on a residential extension of a Victorian terraced house which, owing to the nature of proposals included notifications to both Adjoining Owners.
On one side, the neighbour had already extended their property and the nature of discussions related to the construction of an isolated structural arrangement which did not impinge upon their structure.
On the other side, the property was unextended; however the Adjoining Owner was intending to carry out extension works of a similar nature in the near future. Using our understanding of the Act and expert construction knowledge, we were able to agree an Award which enabled the Building Owner to achieve their proposals, whilst forming a structural and weathering arrangement that the Adjoining Owner would be able to use in their future extension.
Services:
- Party wall services for residential property owner
- Negotiated with building owner to facilitate proposed works
- Effected specific arrangements to suit adjoining owner’s prospective works
