Case Study

As an additional service to a private client residential building survey, we were asked to provide an insurance reinstatement valuation for a substantial Grade II Listed house and outbuildings, together with extensive grounds and boundaries.

This was a complex site on sloping land, with retaining structures and extensive walling.  The outbuildings were of a similar age to the house and retained a number of features.

Our expert knowledge of the form of construction allied with our cost consultancy, which has extensive experience of projects and construction work on older property, combined to put together a comprehensive and accurate assessment of reinstatement cost advice, which the client used to put the property on cover in time for their proposed exchange of contracts date.
